When Maryam Support Line began, it started with a simple but deeply important belief: no woman should feel alone in her moment of emotional pain.

Over the past 21 months, we have worked tirelessly to build a service rooted in compassion, sincerity, professionalism, and community care. During this time, every call supported, every volunteer trained, every late-night conversation, and every moment of comfort provided has been without public donations. It’s been due to the hard work of our 40+ volunteers.

We intentionally chose to grow slowly and carefully. We wanted to ensure that our foundations were strong, our ethics were clear, and our service genuinely met the needs of the women reaching out to us. We have relied on volunteer dedication, personal sacrifice, and the shared belief that emotional support matters.

Alhamdulillah, what started as a small grassroots initiative has grown into a trusted volunteer-led charity supporting sisters across different communities, backgrounds, and languages.

Today marks an important new chapter for us.

We are now officially open to receiving donations.

This milestone is not simply about fundraising. It is about sustainability, growth, and expanding our ability to serve more women with excellence and care.

As demand for our service continues to increase, we recognise that this is the right time to invite the community to help carry this work forward. Donations will allow us to strengthen our infrastructure, improve volunteer training and supervision, expand our outreach, and create safer and more accessible support systems for the women who need us.

Most importantly, it will help us reach more sisters who may currently be suffering in silence.

We know there are many worthy causes people can support, and we do not take anyone’s trust lightly. Every donation — whether large or small — represents someone choosing to believe in the importance of compassion, listening, and community support.

At Maryam Support Line, we believe emotional support is not a luxury. Feeling heard, understood, supported, and cared for can change the course of someone’s day, their healing, and sometimes even their life.
