Two years ago, Maryam Support Line started with a simple belief: every Muslim woman deserves a safe, faith-based space to be heard. Since then, we've grown from a handful of calls to a lifeline thousands of sisters have turned to — and today, we're delighted to share our first full 2-Year Impact Report, reflecting on everything we've learned along the way, Alhamdulillah.
📞 4,181 Calls Answered
What started with 500 calls in our first 3 months has grown into 4,181 calls answered over two years — a number that represents thousands of moments where a sister needed someone to listen, and we were there.
🌍 202 Foreign-Language Calls
We're also proud that our support has reached beyond English-speaking callers, with 202 calls answered in languages including Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Gujurati, Bangla, Farsi, Somali, Yoruba, French & Spanish. Wherever a sister calls from, whatever language she feels most at home in, we want her to be able to reach us.
💯 A Consistently High Standard of Care
Across the full two years, callers have rated their satisfaction with us at 9.2 out of 10, and 9.4 out of 10 for how likely they'd be to recommend us to others. That trust, to come back to us in a difficult moment, means everything.
